Enrich your relationship with your spouse on a
Marriage Encounter – Emerald Isle, NC weekend experience!
The casual atmosphere of this weekend experience will enhance your time together so that you and your spouse can enjoy these precious 44 hours away from jobs, chores, and family to learn unique, loving, and effective communication techniques that will help you discover a new, more joyful way to live.
INCLUDED IN YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Two nights (Friday & Saturday) lodging for you and your spouse at The Islander Hotel & Resort in Emerald Isle, NC.
- Three (3) meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and two (2) meals on Sunday (breakfast and lunch) for you and your spouse.
- All program materials used during your experience as well as access to marriage enrichment materials following your experience.
LODGING
We want your Marriage Encounter – Emerald Isle, NC experience to be as stress-free as possible for the two of you, so we have already negotiated a contract with The Islander Hotel & Resort for your lodging and meals. You only need to pre-register, pack your bags, and show up!
COST
- $100 per couple application fee
- This payment is required at time of online application using your credit/debit card, or with registration and payment offline by check.
- Financial assistance is available for those in need – please contact us prior to applying.
IMPORTANT
Deadline to apply is February 25, 2027, as The Islander Hotel & Resort requires release of all unused rooms after that date. Applications received after the deadline will be dependent upon the availability of rooms.
REFUNDS
The $100/couple application fee is refundable if you cancel on or before February 25, 2027. Payments received and/or refund requests made after February 25 cannot be accommodated due to contractual guarantees with The Islander Hotel & Resort.
GIVING OPPORTUNITY
Lutheran Marriage Encounter is a 501(c)3 organization that depends entirely on couple contributions to continue this ministry. During your Marriage Encounter – Emerald Isle, NC experience you will be given the opportunity to contribute the actual cost of this experience ($425 per couple) or another amount you choose to help Lutheran Marriage Encounter pay for lodging, for use of the conference room space, and for meals. Your contribution is completely voluntary, and we thank you for any donation you can make!
