Enrich your relationship with your spouse at a
Marriage Encounter – Phoenix/Mesa AZ weekend experience!

The casual atmosphere of this weekend experience will enhance your time together so that you and your spouse can enjoy these precious 44 hours away from jobs, chores, and family to learn unique, loving, and effective communication techniques that will help you discover a new, more joyful way to live.

INCLUDED IN YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Two nights (Friday & Saturday) lodging  for you and your spouse at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Phoenix/Mesa, AZ.
• Three (3) meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and two (2) meals on Sunday (breakfast and lunch) each for you and your spouse.
• All program materials used during your experience as well as access to marriage enrichment materials following your experience.

We want your Marriage Encounter – Phoenix/Mesa, AZ experience to be as stress-free as possible for the two of you, so we have already negotiated a contract with the venue for your lodging and meals. You only need to pack your bags and show up!

COST 

• $100 per couple application fee to reserve your place.
• This payment is required at time of online application using your credit/debit card, or with registration and payment offline by check.
• There also will be an opportunity provided to contribute to the continuation of Marriage Encounter experiences. Please see below for information.

IMPORTANT

Deadline to apply is October 20, 2026, as our hotel venue requires release of all unused hotel rooms after that date. Applications received after the deadline will be dependent upon the availability of rooms at the hotel.

REFUNDS

The $100 per couple cost is refundable if you cancel on or before October 20, 2026. Refund requests made after October 20 cannot be accommodated due to contractual guarantees with the venue.

PAY IT FORWARD OPPORTUNITY

Lutheran Marriage Encounter is a 501(c)3 organization that depends entirely on couple contributions to continue this ministry. During your Marriage Encounter – Phoenix/Mesa, AZ experience you will be given the opportunity to contribute to the full cost of your experience – $675 per couple – that Lutheran Marriage Encounter must pay Doubletree by Hilton for lodging, use of the conference room space, and meals. Your contribution is completely voluntary and we thank you for any donation you can make.
