The casual atmosphere of this Columbus, Ohio, Marriage Encounter weekend experience will enhance your time together so that you and your spouse can enjoy these precious 44 hours away from jobs, chores, and family to learn unique, loving, and effective communication techniques that will help you discover a new, more joyful way to live.

INCLUDED IN YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Two nights (Friday & Saturday) lodging  for you and your spouse at the Courtyard by Marriott in Columbus-Worthington, Ohio.
• Three (3) meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and two (2) meals on Sunday (breakfast and lunch) each for you and your spouse. Catering for this event will be provided by Bob Evans restaurant. 
• All program materials used during your experience as well as access to marriage enrichment materials following your experience.

LODGING

We want your Marriage Encounter Columbus, Ohio experience to be as stress-free as possible for the two of you, so we have already negotiated a contract with the venue for your lodging and meals. You only need to pre-register, pack your bags, and show up!

COST

• $100 application fee per couple to reserve your place.
• This payment is required at time of online application using your credit/debit card, or with application and payment offline by check.
• Financial assistance for the program cost is available for those in need – please contact us prior to applying.

REFUNDS

The $100/couple application fee is refundable if you cancel on or before June 1, 2026. Payments received and/or refund requests made after June 1, 2026 cannot be accommodated due to contractual commitments with the venue and caterer.

DONATION OPPORTUNITY

Lutheran Marriage Encounter is a 501(c)3 organization that depends entirely on couple contributions to continue this ministry. During your Columbus, Ohio Marriage Encounter experience you will be given the opportunity to contribute toward the actual cost – $450 per couple – of this experience to help Lutheran Marriage Encounter pay for lodging, use of the conference room space, and meals. Your contribution is completely voluntary, and we thank you for any donation you can make.
