The weekend begins Friday evening and ends late Sunday afternoon. Check with your local area registrar for specific times. See the listing of local registrars on the How to Register page. It is important for you to plan to be available for the entire weekend.

Where are Marriage Encounter weekends held?
At a hotel, conference center, or church.

What about meals and accommodations?
Meals beginning with Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch and reservations for two nights will be made for you when you register with Lutheran Marriage Encounter. You do not have to contact the facility. Please indicate any special dietary or medical needs on your registration form.
Will you have to speak in a group?
No, it is not required. You will listen to presentations as a group, but you will share privately with your spouse.
Do you have to be Lutheran to attend a weekend?
No. Husbands and wives of any faith are welcome.

What is the cost?
Registration fee per couple is $45.00. Actual Lutheran Marriage Encounter Weekend costs vary across the country. It is the goal to continue to make this Weekend financially possible for all husbands and wives who want to attend. Therefore, on your Weekend, you will have the opportunity to give a confidential contribution towards growing this ministry--pay it forward, GO DO Likewise. Since 1975, this non-profit and donation based volunteer-led ministry with 501c3 status, has made it possible for husbands and wives to attend these marriage-strengthening Weekends. No married couple has ever been denied a Weekend due to financial constraints.
